Beta 1712E Flexible Magnetic Pick-Up Tool for Screws and Nuts
The Beta 1712E flexible magnetic pick-up tool is designed to retrieve screws, nuts, washers and other small ferrous metal parts. It is particularly useful when small components fall into hard-to-reach areas. Suitable for maintaining cars, motorcycles and machinery, it helps retrieve items from narrow spaces and concealed mechanical compartments.
The flexible shaft allows the tool to bend around obstacles and reach the item to be retrieved. Its magnetic tip holds ferrous components securely during extraction. This can help avoid dismantling surrounding parts when access conditions allow. The tool is practical for everyday workshop tasks as well as general maintenance work.
The Beta flexible magnetic pick-up tool from the new EVOX range features a coated steel shaft and a non-slip handle. The handle provides a stable grip during use. Different versions are available to suit the required magnetic holding force and working reach.
Choosing the Right Magnetic Holding Force
The Beta 1712E range includes three models, each with a different nominal magnetic holding force:
- Beta 1712E/1 – 0.5 kg: 420 mm long. Suitable for retrieving lightweight ferrous parts, such as small screws and washers.
- Beta 1712E/2 – 1.8 kg: 530 mm long. Provides stronger magnetic attraction and extra reach for deeper areas.
- Beta 1712E/3 – 3 kg: 532 mm long. The model with the highest magnetic holding force in the range, suitable when greater attraction is required.
To choose the most suitable Beta flexible magnetic pick-up tool, consider the size and position of the object to be retrieved. Also check the available space for bringing the magnetic tip into contact with it. Greater magnetic attraction can make retrieving ferrous components easier. The tool's length determines how far it can reach.
The values expressed in kg indicate the nominal magnetic holding force, not the weight of the tool. Actual holding performance depends on the material, shape and contact surface of the object. The magnet attracts ferromagnetic materials. It is therefore unsuitable for retrieving aluminium, copper or other non-magnetic objects.
