Pneumatics

Pneumatic devices are used in a variety of industrial applications, generally handling smaller forces than those for which hydraulic devices are best suited. Pneumatic devices are normally less expensive than electric ones and are designed to use compressed air as an energy source. Using suitable actuators, they convert the energy potential of the compressed air into energy to drive mobile mechanical devices. Depending on the type of actuator used, there are various possibilities of movement.
