Photocells
Photoelectric sensors, also known as photocells, are devices used to detect and/or measure the distance, absence or presence of an object using an optical source and a photoelectric receiver. They are widely used in industrial automation and civil applications. Generally speaking, they can be divided into three main categories according to their operating principle: barrier (emitter+receiver), retro-reflective, and direct reflection (direct scanning).
